CCFLT Fall Conference
Join us for a morning of learning and collaboration! CCFLT is excited to offer a new take on the Fall Conference. In order to provide educators from across the state better access to our offerings, we are offering three locations simultaneously. Your experience will include:
-Opening remarks and awards by the CCFLT Board of Directors. -Virtual keynote by presenter, author, and teacher Rachelle Dené Poth on the use of AI in the World Language Classroom. This will be followed by a live Q&A period with our knowledgeable presenter. -Guided material creation workshop that allows you to work collaboratively with fellow educators from your region to put the information from our presenter to use, building a database of AI-oriented lessons and activities that can be used in your classroom the next day.

Keynote Speaker
Rachelle Dené Poth is an edtech consultant, presenter, attorney, author, and teacher. Rachelle teaches Spanish and STEAM: What’s nExT in Emerging Technology at Riverview Junior Senior High School in Oakmont, PA. Rachelle has a Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law and a Master’s in Instructional Technology. She is a Consultant and Speaker, owner of ThriveinEDU LLC Consulting. She is also a Buncee Ambassador, Nearpod PioNear and Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert.
Rachelle is the author of several books, "In Other Words: Quotes That Push Our Thinking,” “Unconventional Ways to Thrive in EDU” (EduMatch) and “The Future is Now: Looking Back to Move Ahead,” “Chart A New Course: A Guide to Teaching Essential Skills for Tomorrow’s World," Your World Language Classroom: Strategies for In-Person and Digital Instruction", and "Things I Wish [...] Knew". Rachelle is a blogger for Getting Smart, Defined Learning, District Administration, NEO LMS, and the STEM Informer with Newsweek.

9:00-10:30: Virtual Keynote with Rachelle Dené Poth and Q&A
10:30-12:30: In-person workshop and guided material creation
Cancellations may be refunded if requested in writing by Saturday, September 30, 2023.
